This presentation focuses on your personal experience in a professional or career development opportunity. Share insights from internships, conferences, study abroad, or work based experiences. You’ll highlight how the experience helped you grow professionally and what others can learn from it.
Each presenter or presenting group should be prepare:
- Time: 5 to 10 minutes
- Format: Use visuals such as slides, photos, or videos to enhance your presentation
- Content:
- Overview of Experience: What was the opportunity? What was your role or position? What were the goals of the experience, and what did you learn?
- Student Perspective: What might other students learn from your experience? Would you encourage other students to pursue this opportunity? What kind of student might be interested in this opportunity?
- Career-Readiness Competencies: Reference one or more of the NACE Career Readiness Competencies (listed below) that you developed during your experience. Explain how you grew in those areas.
